Apocalypse Jazz Unit. Sunday 19th March 3:30-6:30pm

0003008735_100The Apocalypse Jazz Unit was conceived in 2012 as a solo recording project by saxophonist Rick Jensen and has since transmogrified into a live band with a variety of equally deranged improvisers. Since April 2013 Apocalypse Jazz Unit has been a tornado of activity, releasing 60 digital albums (several of which have been recorded at Hundred Years Gallery), whilst bringing experimental mayhem, eclecticism and a sense of humour to their countless performances.

For this acoustic afternoon concert, the Apocalypse Jazz Unit will play in various small groups, then as the full ensemble. And it’s Rick Jensen’s Birthday…
