CRAM Records present the latest instalment in their quarterly series at Hundred Years Gallery… an afternoon concert by three dynamic duos:

Tom Jackson (clarinet) and Alex Ward (clarinet)
Though this duo first burst forth at Boat Ting in 2013 and has returned there many times, this is the first time Ward and Jackson have played as a duo at the gallery. They also feature as members of the Alex Ward Quintet, the Alex Ward Sextet, and the Ward, Jackson & Alder trio.

Benedict Taylor (viola) and Hannah Marshall (cello)
Having performed together in a number of different ensembles (Evan Parker Ensemble – 70th Birthday Bash, LIO, Burning Wood, Dominic Lash Ensemble), Taylor & Marshall will play as a duo for the first time. In what proves to be an exciting sonic exploration of wood, varnish, strings & bows, this duo may tell you a lyrical, crackling, sputtering and unpredictable tale, like a dark winter afternoon log fire (Not necessarily permitted in the Central London area – check with your local borough council for details).

Daniel Thompson (acoustic guitar) and Guillaume Viltard (double bass)
Thompson and Viltard first played together in a trio with flautist Neil Metcalfe during the early winter of 2011. Having worked together in various ensemble configurations since, they always welcome the opportunity to play duo. This will be one of those welcome occasions.
