Ken Ikeda is a video artist and composer born in Tokyo (1964), currently a resident in London. He has exhibited sound art and visual installations around the world and has collaborated with Hiroshi Sugimoto, Mariko Mori and Tadanori Yokoo, as well as composing for David Lynch. “Mist On The Window” (2007) and “Kosame” (2010) were released on Spekk, following I(2000) and “Merge” (2003) both from Touch label.

Rie Nakajima and Keiko Yamamoto perform as the duo  O Yama O in which they create soundscapes inspired by old Japanese folk tales, anthropology and domestic life routines etc.

“Sudden sounds and spiky gestures were enacted by Yamamoto, chanting words and stamping feet. Nakajima responded by touching her objects, prodding almost caressing them towards signs of life through sound, not unlike the role of a midwife.” – Virginia Whiles

John Russell and Eddie Prevost need no introduction to Hundred Years Gallery regulars. Both have been at the forefront of European Free Improvisation throughout its history, and today we offer an opportunity to hear them in this exciting meeting of performance art and new music.

Billy Steiger was born in Howth, Ireland on the 16th December, 1986. Now he plays the violin.
