100We are pleased to welcome Israeli bassist Nadav Masel for a rare London performance – playing solo and as part of a unique trio.

‘Deep tones of inner peace for a better tomorrow or just realizing where and what we are’.

Masel is active as an improviser in a wide range of contexts – including a duo with long time veteran Harold Rubin, a trio with Polish saxophonist Mikolaj Trzaska, and the banjo/double bass duo Ground Birds. He incorporates vocal sound in his solo work as well as hidden-electronics-for-double-bass. In addition he is lead bass player of Ensmble21

Ute Kanngiesser is a German, London based cellist. Classically trained as a child, she turned to improvisation and experimental music while practicing physical theatre and dance in Berlin.

Tom Wheatley is a monster bassist and fixture on th London improvisation scene. His duo album with John Edwards was recorded live at Hundred Years Gallery  and released by Earshots! recordings.
