Simon Katan is a digital artist with a background in music and a strong preoccupation with games and play. His work incorporates hidden mechanisms, emergent behaviour, paradox, self-reference, inconsistency, abstract humour, absurdity and wonder. http://www.info.simonkatan.co.uk/
Born in Tehran in 1987, Sara Taghdimi is an illustrator and graphic artist. She is interested in narrative image making and currently her illustration style is based on fairytales and epics. She bases her characters on her own ideas, then, translates them into her personal visual language to make a new fantasy world. She has participated in a number of public art/workshop events with Hurdy-Gurdy collective at Brighton Museum, V&A Museum and others. http://sarataghdimi.com
Gagarin has been making music on the edges of the musical galaxy for many years in many guises. For this project he works alone crafting atmospheric digital soundscapes, sculpting future grooves and polishing aching melodies. Roshi featuring Pars Radio is the music project created around the beautiful individual interpretations of Iranian folk and original songs of Roshi Nasehi. The project features the electronic soundscapes/beats of Graham Dids (Gagarin, Nico, Pere Ubu). It’s an unusual sound world combining Roshi’s intimate singing style with Graham’s experimental electronic powers to create a unique genre-crossing, ‘exotic, folktronica landscape.’
