Vocalist Saadet Türköz brings a dreamy perspective to Kazakh and Turkish traditional sounds, colours, and melodies, combining past and future, traditional and contemporary, dream and reality. Performing since the 1990s, Türköz has collaborated with many musicians across different continents.

For this concert she will be accompanied by Caroline Kraabel (saxophone and voice) and Daniel Thompson (acoustic guitar)

She has performed in the musical projects of many artists, including Boby Mc Ferrin, Elliott Sharp, Okay Temiz, William Parker, Miya Masaoka, Okkyung Lee, Peggy Lee, Conny Bauer, Joelle Leandre, Günter Baby Sommer, Kyle Sheperd, Carlo Mombelli,Gianni Gebba, John Edwards, Fred Frith, Charlotte Hug, Larry Ochs, Arnaldo Antunes, Shahzad Ismaily, Eyvind Kang and many more… And she is a band member of Urumchi, Cush, Zarya-tay and performs duos with Nils Wogram, Martin Schütz, Hans Hassler, Lucien Dubuis and Hans Koch.
