Weisslich VI. Saturday 23rd April 7:30pm

WEISSLICH 6 flyer_border_small

WEISSLICH is back for a night of more boundary-defying music and performance. Ben Jameson and Mark Knoop perform Jameson’s Construction In Metal, which looks at ‘fake’ and ‘real’ electric guitars as cultural and social symbols; Cathy van Eck‘s Music Stands – the sound behind the score reimagines the music stand as a sound-producing device, inverting its usual role as a supporting prop; G. Douglas Barrett‘s A Few Marlenes takes the facial expressions of Marlene Dietrich as choreographic material; Carolyn Chen’s Adagio uses a Bruckner symphony as an audio guide; Solomiya Moroz reflects on her home town in Postcards from Lviv; and Neil Luck closes the evening off with something that may or may not be a selection of poems in Selected Poems.

Doors 7.30pm | Music 8.00pm | £5 on the door
